Usage:
1,Collection of specimen from throat swabs and nasal swabs.
2,Short time storage and transportation of throat swab and nasal swab related virus specimen under normal temperature or cold storage.
3,It is used for long-term storage in -80 ºC environment or liquid nitrogen environment of virus and related specimens.
4,The collected specimens can be used for virus nucleic acid detection (inactivated medium) or virus isolation and culture(activated medium). If it is used for virus nucleic acid detection, virus nucleic acid extraction kit and virus nucleic acid detection kit shall be used together; if it is used for virus separation, cell culture medium shall be used together.
5,According to the needs of customers, we can provide customized throat swab, nasal swab, throat swab and nasal swab for the collection of virus specimens.
Composition
1,The disposable sampler consists of a sampling tube (containing viral transport medium) and a sampling swab.
2,The volume of viral transport medium(VTM) is 3ml for conventional products, and it can also be customized according to customer needs.
3,The sampling tube of throat swab is 5ml, and that of nasal swab is 10ml.
4,The routine product of sampling swab is equipped with one throat swab (one bottle of VTM), or one nasal swab (one bottle of VTM) or one throat swab and one nasal swab (one bottle or two bottles of VTM) as required by customers.
